What you will do:
Undertake psychological assessments for children and young people in educational settings. Provide high-quality psychological advice as part of Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments (EHCNA) . Produce clear, evidence-based written reports within agreed timescales. Offer consultation to schools, parents/carers, and professionals to improve outcomes. Deliver evidence-based interventions supporting learning, behaviour, and emotional wellbeing. Champion inclusion and promote positive experiences for children and young people with SEND.
Work collaboratively with schools, SEND services, health professionals, and social care partners. Contribute to multi-agency planning meetings and reviews as required. Uphold HCPC standards , EPS policies, and professional ethical guidelines in all areas of practice. Maintain accurate records and contribute to service evaluation and quality assurance. Participate in supervision, peer support, and service meetings to support reflective practice.
