Senior Carer

Position: Senior Carer (Permanent)
Bright Selection is delighted to working with an exciting provider who is seeking an experienced Senior Care Assistant, supporting the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care.

With strong clinical leadership and operational support in place, this role offers long-term development and the opportunity to play a key role in maintaining high standards of care and team supervision.

Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
Medication administration qualification and experience.
Previous experience within a care home environment.
Good understanding of care planning, risk assessments, and CQC standards.
Confident communication skills and basic IT literacy.

Responsibilities:

Delivering direct personal care and promoting resident dignity and independence.
Supporting and reviewing care plans alongside the Nurse.
Administering medication and maintaining accurate records.
Monitoring resident wellbeing and escalating concerns appropriately.
Supervising and supporting Care Assistants within the team.
Ensuring compliance with safeguarding, infection control, and health & safety standards.
