Crisis & Therapeutic Home Treatment Team CAMHS Specialty Doctor in Psychiatry

This is a replacement, substantive, full-time post (10 PAs with 8 DCC and 2 SPA). The role involves working alongside nurses and therapists within the team, providing medical support and guidance, and influencing future direction, treatment and models of care.

• Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to children and young people with mental health needs across SET.
• Provide medical support and guidance to the team.
• Work directly with young people and their families and liaise with other external CAMHS mental health providers and acute hospitals.
• Support peers and team leaders as an effective team member while allowing initiative.
• Work alongside a Consultant in the service.
• Commit to collaborative working, actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals and agencies.
