Job Overview
Rainbow Mother and Baby unit is a 6‑bedded specialist commissioned service offering assessment, support and treatment to women suffering from acute mental health illness during their third trimester of pregnancy up to baby being 12 months old.
The unit accepts admissions primarily from the east of England and works closely with other key professions to ensure the best outcomes for both mother and baby, therefore strong communication skills are essential.
Perinatal work is an exciting area focusing not only on the individual but the extended family during what can be the most amazing and terrifying time in their life.
Main Duties- Running group and 1:1 therapeutic activities to support recovery and enjoyment for mums individually and mums and baby together.

Staff BankOur EPUT NHS staff bank is an entity managed by the Trust that hires clinical and non‑clinical healthcare professionals to take on shifts at our Trust hospitals and community settings. All permanent staff are automatically enrolled onto the staff bank; however you do not have to work additional shifts unless you wish.
