Job Title:
Practice Nurse (Short-Term Cover)
Location:
Braintree, Essex Duration: 2 Weeks (Immediate Start) Rate: £31 per hour
We are seeking an experienced Practice Nurse for short-term cover at a busy GP practice in Braintree. This role requires a professional who is well-versed in treatment room duties and can provide a high standard of patient care.
Responsibilities- Treatment room duties, including wound care, dressings, and minor injury management.
- Administration of vaccinations and injections, including flu vaccines and B12 injections.
- Cervical screening (smears).
- Chronic disease management support.
- Health checks, venepuncture, and routine patient assessments.
- Conducting ECGs and assisting in various clinical tasks as required.
- Experience with Systm Oneis essential.
- Valid NMC Registration.
- Experience in a GP practice setting.
- Immediate availability for 2 weeks.
- Competitive hourly rate of £31.
- Flexible scheduling within the practice's operating hours.
