Location: South Woodham Ferrers

Account Manager South Woodham Ferrers - Office Based - Monday to Friday - 8am 5pm

We are recruiting for a driven, tenacious and money motivated Account Manager/Sales professional to join a growing, founder led business that is continuing to expand. This is not a sit back and wait role. This is for someone who enjoys the buzz of sales and account management, thrives in a targeted environment and wants to earn commission consistently.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Around 50 outbound B2B sales calls per day
  • Account management to increase and develop sales opportunities within existing clients
  • Upselling on incoming customer enquiries
  • Processing orders, producing quotations and raising invoices
  • Handling customer queries and resolving complaints through to resolution
  • Managing a geographical area
  • Contacting regular clients to identify needs and promote special offers
  • Producing and sending mailshots and maintaining the database
  • Ensuring the system is kept fully up to date

This role is a genuine mix of new business sales, account management, customer support, problem solving and administration. You will need to be organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Confident and experienced working in a targeted sales environment
  • Previous telesales and account management experience is essential
  • Driven, resilient and motivated by commission
  • A strong relationship builder who understands that this role is about long term client development, not just the initial call
  • Able to juggle a varied and constantly changing workload
  • Must be able to drive and have access to own transport due to location
