An exciting opportunity has arisen; do you want to make a real difference to the lives of people who have served in the armed forces and their families? We are looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills, able to work as part of a team and independently, who is compassionate and enthusiastic about supporting the armed forces' community.
This role is part time working 28 hours a week over 4 days on a fixed term contract for 1 year. If you have family and carers welfare experience, this role may be for you. Benefits- Annual Leave: 30 days a year plus public holidays (pro‑rated for part‑time employees).
- Pension:
Auto‑enrolment onto the DMWS workplace pension scheme—subject to eligibility. You will make a minimum contribution of 5% which DMWS will match up to 6%. - Death in Service Scheme:
Three times your annual salary to nominated beneficiaries—subject to eligibility. - Flexible Working:
All flexible working requests are considered; many staff work flexible hours and work wholly or partly from home. - Work‑based Parking/Mileage:
