Job DescriptionChelmsford Public Schools – Announcement of Vacancy for the 2025/2026 School Year. The District reserves the right to change or not fill this vacancy based on staffing changes, enrollment, or budget.
Position: Adult Education Night Supervisor (Wednesdays & Thursdays) for Chelmsford Community Education
Job Description: Night class supervisor will work in both the Commed Building on Wednesdays (170 Dalton Road) and Chelmsford High School on Thursdays (200 Richardson Road) from 5:00-9:00pm.
Fall session: September 8 to December 18, 2025.
Winter/Spring session: January 20 to May 15, 2026. No classes during the summer. Actual start and end time based on daily class schedule.
FTE: Part time, employee at will, approximately 9 hours a week.
Reports to: Director, Chelmsford Community Education
Responsibilities- Site supervisor, responsible for any emergencies that may arise
- Greet instructors
- Greet students; escort to classrooms on first night of classes
- Print attendance sheets
- Make xerox copies for instructors as required
- Ensure rooms are set up for classes – physically and technology
- Break down rooms after classes
- Work with custodians (cleaners) to ensure buildings and classroom doors are open
- Work with custodians to ensure outside lights are on proper timing
- Prior to class start, work with technology to ensure proper software is loaded on clear touch boards.
