General Description:
The successful candidate will teach second grade. The position requires that the individual hired must have knowledge of the developmental level of second grade students and the pedagogy required to implement academic programs. Candidate will coordinate efforts with specialists assigned to provide additional specific services; confer with parents to promote better understanding of the pupil and his/her environment; assist and guide ancillary personnel;
attend meetings and prepare and maintain all related records and reports reflecting activities as required or directed. Perform other duties as directed or as responsibilities necessitate.
Massachusetts DESE teacher licensure required.

Job Requirements- Successful candidates will hold the appropriate degree and MA DESE Teaching License in the subject and grade level. Please bring official transcripts to the hiring supervisor if interviewed in the event that you are recommended for hire.
