Position: RF Engineer, Staff IPT Lead - Chelmsford, MA

What You Will Be Doing
  • Providing technical leadership to a cross‑functional engineering team.
  • Leading the development and production of complex multi‑function microwave modules by managing cost and schedule.
  • Working on complex technical problems and providing innovative solutions.
  • Supporting technical reviews internally, with the customer and external stakeholders, and at supplier locations.
  • Mentoring less experienced engineers on the team.
  • Serving as the primary interface with Engineering & Technology Leadership and Program Management to ensure that the multi‑year phased program is on track.
  • Leading and/or supporting internal and external customer meetings, IPT status, Technical Interchange Meetings, Technical Readiness Reviews, and critical program failure review boards, risk management, and mission success reviews.

Further Information About This Opportunity

Location:

Chelmsford, Massachusetts.

Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a Secret clearance. An interim Secret clearance is required at the start.

Basic Qualifications
  • Postsecondary STEM degree with a minimum of 5+ years of experience.
  • Active DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance with full investigation within the last 5 years.
  • Experience designing or supporting the production of active RF modules, circuits, or systems.
  • Experience validating and troubleshooting RF designs and resolving integration issues.
  • Minimum of 1+ year technical multidisciplinary project leadership experience for highly complex hardware, electronics, RF, or mechanical projects with little oversight.
  • Experience fostering close working relationships with associate IPT Leads, functional managers, and customer counterparts.
Desired Skills
  • Advanced degree in engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • Relevant experience in the defense electronics industry and architecture development for RF systems.
  • Experience leading or presenting at technical reviews and boards.
  • Experience with RF microwave test equipment and microwave simulation tools.
  • Prior experience with RF sensor or active module/subsystems development.
  • Experience planning and leading technical solutions from proposal through development, qualification, verification, test, and transition to production.
  • Experience leading failure analysis and review boards.
