Job DescriptionAECOM’s Water Business Line is seeking a dynamic, talented Client Account Manager for immediate employment to be based out of one of our New England offices. The appropriate qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career serving as a client-facing account manager on regional, state, and municipal water, wastewater, and water resources projects; preferably within New England. This position offers a unique opportunity to work within an established and successful group that offers a diverse range of technical challenges and career development opportunities.
Responsibilities- Supports the growth team with identifying, prepositioning for, and pursuing new opportunities.
- Serves as a client account manager for multiple clients across New England.
- Represents AECOM by participating in professional organizations.
- Actively directs the performance of ongoing water and wastewater projects as well as take a leadership role in the development and capture of upcoming projects and programs with those clients.
- Provides technical guidance and support to the team, enforces company and project policies, and is a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface.
- Serves as a mentor to mid-level engineers and managers.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Environmental or related Engineering degree plus 8 years of relevant experience and demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Registered Professional Engineer - PE.
- 8+ years experience with water and wastewater treatment, pumping stations, collection and distribution systems and client/consultant relations.
- Proven ability of leading business development activities, pursuing new clients/projects, and managing project deliveries.
- Proven leader with an interest in developing and mentoring team members and demonstrated ability to successfully work in diverse teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Participation in water community activities including Water Environment Federation and American Water Works Association.
- This position does not offer relocation assistance.
- Sponsorship for U.S. Employment Authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.
USD 175,000 – USD 225,000 per year.
