Due to the on‑site requirements of this position, applicants are expected to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the designated work location (Chelmsford, MA). This role does not offer relocation.

Job Summary Applies standard engineering techniques (Good Design Practices) and procedures to the design, development, and enhancement of new and currently marketed medical devices, including external defibrillators, external pacemakers, and monitors. Designs, tests, and documents new circuitry as well as modifies existing circuitry in systems and subsystems, including those related to analog, digital, power supply, isolation, and high voltage functionality. Works closely with other electrical, mechanical, and software engineers to design, develop, and support complete systems and subsystems.

Works with outside vendors and contractors as required to accomplish tasks. Support Manufacturing and Quality Assurance groups as required to debug or improve existing designs.

Essential Functions Design and development activities

Debug testing, or qualification of designs

Other projects related to engineering activities

Required/Preferred

Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent with minimum of 3 years of relevant experience required;
Or Master's degree with at least 1 year of hands-on electrical engineering experience required.

Product design experience required and Experience in medical or other highly regulated industry is strongly desiredrequired and

Experience with electrical engineering test equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.required
