Under direct supervision, you will assist clinicians with routine clinical procedures and tests in the exam room. You will advise patients on preparation and testing required for exams, ensure all pre‑visit work is completed, and that lab and other test results are available in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR). You will provide excellent customer service, strengthen the patient‑clinician relationship through timely and informative interactions, improve clinical operations and efficiencies by ensuring a smooth flow of patients, and provide clinical and clerical support to the practice and clinicians.
You may provide direct clinical support to one or more assigned clinicians.
M, W, F 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.;
Tue, Thu 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

Education / Licenses / Certifications- High School diploma or equivalency certificate (e.g., GED, HiSET, TASC); or a Medical Assistant certification (required).
- Associate degree in medical assisting or graduate of a medical assistant certification program (preferred).
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) strongly preferred.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty.
- Minimum 1 year of prior clinical or customer service experience (a bachelor’s or associate degree may be used as a substitute).
- Computer skills required, including word processing and spreadsheet programs.
- Experience with or aptitude for learning an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
- Professional and appropriate communication.
- Strong interpersonal, customer service, time‑management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to think quickly and relate to all staff and patients.
- Ability to prioritize work throughout a busy day.
The hourly rate is $19.81 to $28.28 per hour for full‑time employment, dependent on labor market, education, experience, and certifications. Atrius Health complies with all minimum wage laws.
