Who We Are Looking ForAre you the Emergency Room Diversion Clinician we’ve been searching for? In this role, you will have the opportunity to share your passion for helping others while working with our youth! JRI’s Children's Friend and Family Services division is committed to assisting families and their children who are dealing with substantial behavioral, emotional, and mental health challenges. Our mission is to ensure they can access the vital services necessary for them to flourish at home, in school, and within their communities.
Schedule:
This is a part-time position.
The pay range for this position is $50,000 to $75,000 per year. The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience, education, licensure, certifications and qualifications. This range may be modified in the future.
JRIProvides The Training So That
- You will offer a diverse range of community-based services, which include home and community-focused family therapy, in-home therapy, therapeutic training and support services, case management, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and assessments.
- You will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team, collaborating with a BCBA, Family Partner, and Therapeutic Support Specialist to identify the most effective strategies for guiding and assisting clients within the community.
- You will create and implement interventions aimed at enhancing the family's ability to support the youth's functioning both at home and in the community, potentially preventing the need for admission to inpatient hospitals, psychiatric residential treatment facilities, or other treatment environments.
- You will establish a structured, consistent, strength-based therapeutic relationship between the clinician and the youth and their family to address the youth's behavioral health needs, thereby improving the family's capacity to provide effective support that fosters healthy functioning.
- You will deliver culturally competent, trauma-informed, and confidential clinical services, ensuring that the young person's needs are at the forefront of your practice.
- You will offer consultation to collateral parties, including schools and medical service providers.

- Must be 21 years of age.
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling from an accredited college or university required.
- Clinical licensure (LCSW, LMHC, LICSW, LMFT) or able to sit for clinical licensure required. We will help you!
- Must have clinical experience with children and adolescents required; familiarity with trauma informed models of treatment preferred.
