Recreation Aide – Palm Springs Post Acute

This full‑time position is offered through Marquis Health Consulting Services and is based at the Palm Springs Post Acute facility.

Tuesday–Saturday shifts. Tuesdays and Wednesdays: 1:30 PM–7:30 PM. Thursdays–Saturdays: 9 AM–4:30 PM. Pay: $17 per hour.

• Facilitate daily, weekly, and monthly recreation events to encourage socialization and engagement among residents.
• Observe residents during events and assist with activities such as coloring, crafts, and other recreational needs.
• Report any medical concerns to supervisors promptly.
• Craft, color, decorate, and play games with residents as part of activity programming.

• Prior recreation or activities experience in a nursing home setting, preferably with dementia care.
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skill in providing age‑appropriate care to residents.
• High School Diploma or GED.
