Role SnapshotWe’re hiring a skilled Industrial Painter who can apply a range of coatings to tight tolerances using multiple paint systems. You’ll bring a sharp eye for detail, a steady hand, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
Schedule & Pay- Employment:
Full-time, first shift - Hours:
6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday–Friday - Compensation: $20.00–$31.00 per hour
- Pull the correct paint from inventory and prepare it to the proper spraying viscosity with the appropriate thinner.
- Accurately mix two-part urethane coatings with reducer.
- Apply coatings to parts per specification and tolerance requirements.
- Confirm finished parts meet customer standards through careful inspection.
- Manage materials responsibly: pour surplus paint into the designated waste bucket by the booth for hazardous waste collection, and clean your spray gun with solvent—collecting used solvent in the second bucket for material handler pickup.
- Address spills immediately with absorbent material and follow all hazardous waste procedures.
- Replace filters and keep the spray booth clean and orderly.
- Move materials as needed and maintain housekeeping in your area.
- Excellent hand–eye coordination, finger dexterity, and strong color recognition.
- Clear communication and an ability to follow detailed work instructions.
- Safety‑first mindset that protects yourself, teammates, and the environment.
- Reliable, consistent performance and attendance.
- Minimum two years of industrial spray painting (or equivalent experience).
- Able to pass a respiratory physical.
- Occasionally lift or move equipment up to 30 lbs.
- Able to climb and descend stairs.
- Capable of sitting, standing, walking, climbing, stooping, and kneeling as needed.
