Analog Devices Inc., Chelmsford Massachusetts facility is looking for Manufacturing Electro-Mechanical Assembly Operators to support our continued growth in the manufacture of high-performance microwave modules and sub-systems. Customers trust Analog Devices to deliver integrated electronics, and ADI is interested in energetic and organized team players that want to deliver quality products in a high-tech manufacturing environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

US Citizenship and able/willing to obtain a government security clearance.
Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions/documentation.
Good computer skills
1 to 3-years working as a Micro assembly/Mechanical assembly preferred or related experience.
High school diploma/GED required. A diploma from a Vocational High School or Technical Diploma is a plus.

Second and Third shift positions available.

2nd: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM EST

3rd: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM EST

This is a hands-on position that requires a strong ability to work on delicate parts utilizing a microscope.

Specific Responsibilities:

Ability to work 8 hours under the microscope utilizing miniaturized hand tools such as tweezers and fine screwdrivers.
In-process inspection and self-inspection.
Hand solder components, wires, and jumpers into the assemblies per IPC-610.
Assemble and/or solder electronic components to printed circuit boards.
MMIC Die attach of chip components using silver epoxy.
Hybrid circuit assemblies using silver epoxy and solder.
Ability to read and work from detailed process sheets, prints and drawings.
Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
Good computer skills are required to support retrieval of drawings and work instructions, as well as other job activities.
Hand assembly using a variety of tools and or equipment according to specifications/process
Use Loctite, epoxy, and other compounds as required by the assembly process steps
Handle of ESD sensitive material and equipment
Willing to be cross-trained and perform other related duties as required.
Good dexterity, eye / hand coordination.
Demonstrate a keen awareness of safety practices and familiarity with OSHA standards.
Ensure work areas are kept neat, clean, and organized per company guideline.
Must maintain a very good attendance record.
