Process Development Technician – Assembly Process DevelopmentAnalog Devices Federal LLC is seeking an Assembly Process Development Technician to support the Prototype and Space Products manufacturing areas. Working as a member of the Process Development Engineering Team, you will help facilitate the smooth transition of development projects into manufacturing by developing and demonstrating manufacturable processes, including clear documentation and work methods to ensure high quality products at release.
Responsibilities- Automated and manual wedge and ball bonding (F&K, Hesse, manual bonders)
- Bond pull/shear testing and rework (Dage testers)
- Die shear/stud pull testing
- Plasma and solvent cleaning technologies
- Set up, maintain and troubleshoot tooling for manufacturing equipment support
- Follow project plans and execute material builds and evaluations, collecting data for analysis
- High school diploma required; associate’s degree preferred
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in electronics manufacturing process support
- Wirebond experience and working knowledge of processing equipment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, interpret manuals and documentation
- General working knowledge of automated processing equipment
- Hand‑eye coordination for work under a microscope
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, statistical software, and AutoCAD is a plus
- U.S. citizenship required; willingness to apply for a security clearance
The expected wage range for a new hire is $27 k to $34 k; actual offer may vary by location, experience and market data. The position qualifies for a discretionary performance‑based bonus and includes medical, vision and dental coverage, 401(k), paid vacation, holidays, sick time and other benefits.
