Job Description:Seeking a Microelectronics Assembler for a leading technology company in Chelmsford, MA. This is an exciting contract opportunity with potential for long-term employment. If you have a keen eye for detail and an interest in electronics, this role offers a hands-on experience in assembling and testing cutting-edge products and systems.
Job Responsibilities:Assemble electronic components, sub-assemblies, and products according to work instructions and drawings.Utilize microscopes, measuring instruments, and electronic test equipment to ensure quality standards.Read and interpret assembly instructions and process documentation.Handle components ranging from microscopic to large sizes, requiring visual magnification.Operate various hand tools (tweezers, rulers, cutters) and pneumatic tools (torque drivers, screwdrivers).Maintain accurate production data entry.Collaborate with team members to improve throughput and process efficiency.Complete interim security clearance process at the offer stage.Use basic computer skills to navigate digital systems for timekeeping and work instructions.Follow written and verbal instructions accurately.Learn standards such as J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610.Preferably have experience with electrical or micro-electronics.Apply knowledge of ESD procedures and test equipment.Demonstrate a strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability, with a desire to grow professionally.Hold a high school diploma or GED.Benefits:
