Palm Springs Post Acute and Healthcare Center, a 119‑bed Sub‑Acute and Long‑Term Care facility, invites you to join our dedicated team. • Food Preparation/Production Responsibilities
• Review menus, production and prep guides to determine type and quantities of food to be prepared.
• Prepare all meal items according to planned menus and standardized recipes in a sanitary manner to ensure the utmost quality with a minimum of waste.
• Use nutritionally equivalent substitutes when required.
• Operate a variety of kitchen utensils and equipment, such as blender, mixer, fryer, slicer, steamer, food processor, convection oven, stove, conventional oven, steam table and tilt skillet.
• Follow recipes.
• Prepare and assist with special function meals.
• Complete work assignments.
• Food Safety

• High school diploma preferred.
• Prior work experience with food preparation a plus.
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age‑related needs of the residents served.
