Life Skills Coach (Part‑time) – Join Evolution Independent Living (IL) to support 18‑24 youth in shared‑living communities across Boston, Metro, Northeast and Southeast DCF regions. We seek an energetic, trauma‑informed professional to provide case‑management, life‑skills coaching and support youth independence.
SalaryStarting at $20/hr
Responsibilities- Provide case management to teach youth to navigate community resources, secure adult services/benefits and build a network of permanency and post‑discharge providers.
- Teach life‑skills including driving, medical appointments, legal document acquisition, budgeting, cooking, education, volunteering, job searching/maintenance, community resource navigation, class participation and communication skills.
- Utilize trauma‑informed care throughout the program by specializing in the ARC (Attachment, Regulation, and Competency) framework.
- Collaborate with the clinical and administrative teams to make decisions regarding client treatment.

- Must be 21 years or older.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience working with older youth and young adults in a mental‑health setting and trauma‑informed care preferred.
- Bilingual Spanish proficiency encouraged.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- General computer skills and strong financial literacy.
- Available to work evenings, holidays, weekends as required.
- Active driver’s license required.
- Ability to provide physical interventions and verbal de‑escalation.
- Background and driving record checks will be performed.
