You will be the Shipping/Receiving Specialist for Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control team in Chelmsford, MA. Our team is responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of materials and products through our supply chain.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Shipping/Receiving Specialist you will be responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Performs a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties; may work out of a central warehouse.
• Uses computer system for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting.
• Follows shipping practices and procedures, and transportation routing, schedules and requirements.
• Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment.
• (Un) packs or (un) wraps items such as finished products, raw stock, assemblies, parts, building materials, office supplies, equipment, etc.
• Verifies quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to stated identifications; logs receipt of items on system, processes freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents; reports materials shipped and bills of lading; posts weight and shipping charges and routes merchandise to destinations.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience on a shipping & receiving dock
• DOT HAZMAT Certified
• Strong knowledge of shipping regulations, including HAZMAT handling and transportation
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship (at least Interim Secret required prior to start)

Desired Skills

• Ability to adapt to changing shipping and receiving schedules and priorities
• Willingness to work flexible hours (e.g., overtime, weekends) as needed
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• 49-CFR Certified

Security Clearance Statement

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full‑time. The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.

Schedule for this Position:
Non‑standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for the position in various locations ranges from $33,600 - $64,400 depending on state. Salary is a general guideline and may vary based on location and other factors.
