Description
You will be the Shipping/Receiving Specialist for Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control team in Chelmsford, MA. Our team is responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of materials and products through our supply chain.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Shipping/Receiving Specialist you will be responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting warehouse operations.
Responsibilities- Performs a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties; may work out of a central warehouse.
- Uses computer system for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting.
- Follows shipping practices and procedures, and transportation routing, schedules and requirements.
- Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment.
- (Un) packs or (un) wraps items such as finished products, raw stock, assemblies, parts, building materials, office supplies, equipment, etc.
- Verifies quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to stated identifications; logs receipt of items on system, processes freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents; reports materials shipped and bills of lading; posts weight and shipping charges and routes merchandise to destinations.

Basic Qualifications- Experience on a shipping & receiving dock
- DOT HAZMAT Certified
- Strong knowledge of shipping regulations, including HAZMAT handling and transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship (at least Interim Secret required prior to start)
- Ability to adapt to changing shipping and receiving schedules and priorities
- Willingness to work flexible hours (e.g., overtime, weekends) as needed
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- 49-CFR Certified
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full‑time. The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
Schedule for this Position:
Non‑standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for the position in various locations ranges from $33,600 - $64,400 depending on state. Salary is a general guideline and may vary based on location and other factors.
