Reed Harris is a design-led tile specialist with almost 100 years of experience supplying distinctive surface solutions to interior designers, architects, and private clients. With showrooms in Chelsea and Reading, we pride ourselves on curating beautifully crafted collections that blend timeless design with contemporary innovation. We’re now looking for a confident, personable and detail-oriented Showroom Assistant to join our team in Chelsea.

This is a client-facing role where you’ll help create an inspiring and welcoming environment for our customers, while supporting the smooth daily running of the showroom.

Warmly welcome all visitors, from first-time homeowners to seasoned architects and ensure they have an engaging, informative experience.

Guide clients around the showroom, introducing them to our tile collections and helping them explore materials, formats and finishes.

Support the showroom manager by preparing samples, booking appointments, taking notes during meetings, preparing quotations, placing orders and updating client records.

Keep the showroom impeccably presented at all times.

Tidying displays, restocking samples, and setting up for meetings.

Assist with incoming enquiries by phone and email, passing messages on promptly and professionally.

Support showroom events and launches – helping with preparation, guest lists, and hospitality.

Maintain showroom databases and appointment logs to ensure all client interactions are recorded accurately.

A friendly, polished communicator who enjoys speaking to a wide range of clients.

Someone who takes pride in presentation, has strong attention to detail, and understands the value of great first impressions.

Interest in interior design, architecture, or surface materials

You don’t need deep product knowledge, just curiosity and the desire to learn.

Ability to work well within a small, collaborative team and remain calm under pressure. – Comfortable with basic admin tasks and using tools like Microsoft Office and client databases (CRM experience a plus).

Proactive, organised, and happy to roll up your sleeves – whether it’s prepping samples or helping run an event.
