  • Support RGE Emission Testing on site at Proving Grounds, labs, and local suppliers (if needed)
  • Prepare vehicles for testing and de-prep vehicles when testing is complete
  • Review Catalyst images to ensure there is no damage
  • Work with technicians to ensure there are no system leaks
  • Interface with garage staff on workload priorities and request prep parts as needed
  • Provide Vehicle Triage Support and facilitate issue resolution with appropriate teams
  • Facilitate parts orders to resolve vehicle issues
  • Update software/calibrations and maintain latest calibrations for the Proving Grounds fleet
  • Drive vehicles to set adaptations
  • Update and maintain all vehicle information in Teams Folder
  • Communicate vehicle status throughout the testing process using the tracking system
Primary Responsibilities

  • Update software/calibrations and maintain latest calibrations for the Proving Grounds fleet

  • Update and maintain all vehicle information in Teams Folder
  • Communicate vehicle status throughout the testing process using the tracking system


Key Responsibilities

  • Submit shipment paperwork to move vehicles from Proving Ground to test labs, LINK, or for final disposition
  • Serve as backup for:
  • Submitting emissions test requests in the ETS system
  • Performing data analysis to identify valid and invalid tests
  • Updating results in the database
  • Create issues in the Incident Disposition System (IDS) for tracking by the CX Team
  • Enter test requests in PGTIS for Proving Ground Mileage Accumulator Tests
  • Monitor RGE Fleet vehicles on-road or on the Mileage Accumulator for issues
  • Collaborate with the Mileage Accumulator (MA) team to:
  • Project vehicle return timelines from emission testing
  • Prioritize RGE/RGB vehicles when dyno availability is limited
  • Support team planning meetings and ongoing issue resolution meetings
  • Identify efficiency improvements for emission test processes and lab throughput
  • Present RGE On-Hand Status during weekly team meetings
  • Support special projects as needed
Required Education And Skills

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace)
  • Industry Certification (IC) in Electrical, Mechanical, or Controls Engineering
Technical Proficiencies

  • Matlab – Skill level: 4
  • DC Plot – Skill level: 3
  • MS Office Programs – Skill level: 3
  • Engine and Transmission On-board Systems – Skill level: 3
Other Requirements

  • High proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing)
  • Familiarity with automotive systems and tools for interrogating on-board modules (e.g., engine control module, transmission control module, etc.)
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $27.74/hour - $43.34/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
