Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 base salary (flexible based on experience)
Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the daily operations of a specialized industrial manufacturing facility in the greater Boston area. The operation focuses on the production of rubber-covered rollers and custom rubber components used in a variety of industrial applications. This hands‑on leadership role is responsible for overseeing production, people, and performance while ensuring consistent quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Reporting to senior leadership, the Site Manager will play a key role in executing operational priorities and reinforcing a culture centered on accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee all site-level manufacturing operations, aligning daily activities with business objectives
- Lead rubber manufacturing and finishing processes to ensure production schedules, quality standards, and cost targets are achieved
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, throughput, and scalability
- Monitor key performance indicators and proactively address operational gaps
- Build and maintain a positive, accountable work environment focused on teamwork and performance
- Develop, coach, and hold team leads and onsite personnel accountable
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, industry regulations, and internal policies
- Oversee facility operations, equipment maintenance, and required inspections
- Support customer and supplier relationships to ensure continuity and satisfaction
- Leadership experience in manufacturing, operations, or plant management
- Background in rubber, elastomer, industrial materials, or related manufacturing environments strongly preferred
- Hands‑on operational experience within small to mid‑sized manufacturing facilities
- Strong problem‑solving and process improvement capabilities
Experience managing production schedules, quality standards, and cost controls - Strong communication and people leadership skills
- Experience with rubber-covered rollers, industrial rubber products, or specialty manufacturing
- CAD exposure
- Bilingual capabilities
