Position

Purpose:

The Registered Nurse provides quality patient-centered care considering age-specific, developmental, cultural, and spiritual needs through competent clinical practice and application of the nursing process. They consistently integrate concepts of relationship-based care into practice and serve as a clinical and educational resource to others on the unit.

Our Chelsea Emergency Department has experienced physicians and nurses with advanced training in emergency medicine that provide care 365 days a year in the 24-hour Emergency Department. More than 18,000 patients are treated each year for emergencies ranging from life-threatening cardiac arrests and strokes to major injuries and accidents, to more minor injuries. Facilities include a five-bay observation center for observation and testing before returning home, as well as 20 private exam rooms adding a greater degree of privacy for patients.

Shift Available: 5pm-5am (Night Shift)

Status Available: Full time, benefit eligible (72 hours per pay period – every two weeks)

Every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation.

Required Qualifications:

• Requires current Michigan Nursing License.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• New hires must have a BSN degree or must agree in writing to obtain their BSN within five years.
