the Opportunity
The Shipping Specialist plays a crucial role in our shipping department, ensuring accurate and timely shipment of customer orders. This position involves preparing orders for shipment, generating shipping labels, verifying order components, and maintaining an organized shipping area. The Shipping Specialist will prioritize daily shipments, package products according to company standards, and ensure that shipping labels match order information. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities- Prepare customer products for shipping based on company packaging guidelines
- Create individual Shipping Labels for customer products
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Other various tasks as needed
- Experience working in a fast‑paced retail or warehouse environment
- Experience working in a production environment
- Advanced organization skills
- Ability to work standing 95% of the time
- Ability to lift/carry up to 30lbs
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to successfully multitask
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as invoices and shipping list
- Ability to work some nights, weekends, or holidays with advance notice
- Prior shipping and order fulfillment in a retail/warehouse environment (Plus)
- Prior shipping and order fulfillment of high‑end luxury goods (Plus)
- Experience operating Warehouse management systems programs (Plus)

- This position begins at $19.00/HR for all New Hires into FASHIONPHILE’s Chelsea, NY location.
