We are recruiting for a Service Coordinator in Cheltenham to join A&E Fire and Security.
A&E Fire and Security Ltd is a specialist in the fire and security industry installing and maintaining fire and security equipment and systems to a wide variety of new and existing customers throughout the South West, Midlands, South Wales and M4 Corridor to London.

We now have an exciting opportunity for additional Service Coordinator to join our team.
Main Responsibilities Scheduling- Coordinate and optimise the daily schedules of 8-10 service engineers to minimise travel time and ensure efficient servicing.
- Plan and book maintenance and callout activities, prioritising effective use of engineering resources.
- Schedule maintenance and emergency light testing appointments to meet contractual requirements.
- Raise service and callout jobs using our job management software.
- Work closely with the Service Coordination Manager, Stores Coordinator, Customer Accounts Coordinator, and Processing Team to streamline operations.
- Ensure engineer documentation and paperwork are processed and electronically filed correctly.
- Assist in supporting the service team to identify revenue opportunities and secure maintenance contracts.
- Update and maintain customer databases with key documentation, such as inspection certificates, quotations, and equipment lists.
- Manage ongoing administration of monitoring activities, including ordering equipment for fire, intruder, and CCTV systems, and submitting police URN applications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date keyholder details and databases for customer sites.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong telephone communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent organisational abilities, with a focus on multitasking and meeting deadlines.
- Confident decision-maker with attention to detail in a fast-paced, responsive environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and office administration systems.
- Ability to resolve service issues effectively and work collaboratively with internal teams.
The candidate must be used to working in a busy, “quick response” environment and must be able to be a reliable and assertive member of a busy operational team. It’s also expected that the candidate will have good understanding of commonly used Microsoft office applications. This is a full-time, on-site position working 39.5 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8:30am until 5:00pm and Friday 8:30am to 4:00pm.
Salary:
Starting at £28,000.00 per annum dependant on experience.
