About the RoleWe are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Office Apprentice.
The successful candidate will help maintain smooth running of the Company’s Headquarters in Cheltenham.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career who is eager to gain experience in a professional office environment. You’ll work closely with the Director’s Executive Assistant, supporting with a range of administrative, organisational, and client facing tasks that help the office run smoothly.
The role offers a varied workload, exposure to different areas of the business, and opportunities to develop valuable professional skills. You will report to the Director’s Executive Assistant on a day to day basis.
Key Responsibilities Front of House / Office Support- Welcome clients and visitors, ensuring a professional and friendly first impression to our office.
- Prepare meeting rooms, including arranging refreshments and setting up equipment/online meeting links.
- Support with office orders, stock management, and general office organisation.
- Facilitate access for office maintenance and contractor works.
- Assist with document, events and meeting preparation.
- Purchasing and ad-hoc tasks as requested by the Executive Board and their EA.
- Support with social media posts and content creation.
- Support with maintaining job adverts, scheduling interviews, and provision of relevant documents.
- Preparing welcome packs and coordinating induction timetables for new starters.
- Assist with introduction of new staff to the Company, helping to ensure a smooth positive experience for new joiners.
You must be enthusiastic about excellent customer service and promoting a positive, kind, supportive working environment.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Professional and discreet.
- Helpful, polite, friendly and approachable.
- Confident communicating with Senior Management, clients and important third-party stakeholders.
- Able to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Interested in developing a career in administration or executive support.
The role will be based in our Cheltenham HQ at the Brewery Quarter but may require travel between our offices.
This is an apprenticeship, working towards an NVQ in Business Administration.
