We are representing a leading automotive dealer group seeking a Master Vehicle Technician to join their reputable franchise dealership in Cheltenham.

Duties of a Master Vehicle Technician
  • Carrying out complex diagnostic, warranty, and repair work on vehicles
  • Performing Electric Vehicle (EV) work and hydraulic repairs in line with manufacturer standards (if qualified)
  • Using diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve challenging faults
  • Assisting and mentoring Apprentice Vehicle Technicians and less experienced colleagues
  • Supporting the team to maintain high work quality in a busy dealership environment
  • Ensuring all work complies with industry safety standards and manufacturer procedures
Requirements of a Master Vehicle Technician
  • NVQ Level 3 or IMI equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Proven experience as a Diagnostic or Master Vehicle Technician, with exposure to complex diagnostics and electrical systems
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Full UK driving license with minimal points
  • Motivated team player with a mentor mindset, willing to share expertise and support colleagues
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality work and achieving team targets
