Contract negotiator

Contracts negotiator - Required for this lovely tour operator based in Cheltenham. The contract negotiator will support with the procurement, negotiation and contracting of preferred hotels, transport suppliers and tour guides. Hybrid, salary around £28,000 plus benefits including 25 days holidays, bonus scheme, discounted travel, pension plus many more.

• Ensure new and existing hotels, supplier and guide contracts are successfully negotiated and available for sale according to set targets and deadlines
• Ensure all contracts are complete inline with the contracting template, to a high level of quality and detail.
• Analysis of contracting hotel rates against best available rates on hotel website to make sure you are competitive
• Keep colleagues informed of new product offerings

• Travel industry background would be preferred but its not a must
• Strong negotiation skills
• Excellent command of the English language
• Advanced knowledge of Excel
• Great attention to detail

• This role would suit someone from a accommodation specialist, travel specialist, travel consultant, project manager, contracts, procurement, supplier relations, purchasing or negotiator background
• Monday to Friday position, hybrid.
