Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher to support a Cheltenham based Secondary School on a temporary full-time basis. The successful candidate will take on full teaching responsibilities, including lesson planning, preparation, and marking.

Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in Food Technology.
Develop lesson plans that meet the curriculum requirements and cater to diverse learning needs.
Assess, record, and report on the progress and attainment of students.
Provide constructive feedback to students to support their learning and development.
Maintain a safe and hygienic classroom environment, ensuring all equipment and materials are used appropriately.
Organise and participate in extracurricular activities and school events related to food technology.
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching Food Technology at the secondary school level.
Strong knowledge of the curriculum and assessment methods for Food Technology.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
