Our student recruitment function comprises the following teams:
Student Recruitment and Events, Schools Liaison and Outreach, Admissions and Applicant Experience. Data and evidence inform decision‑making to ensure an efficient and effective service is provided to our customers.
Working within the Student Recruitment and Outreach Team you will generate new leads and build relationships with target schools and colleges predominantly in the South West region (South Gloucestershire, Somerset, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall) to support student recruitment targets.
You will have excellent organisational and administrative skills, plan and organise attendance at higher education fairs in schools and colleges to raise awareness of studying at university, in particular at the University of Gloucestershire.
Your communication skills and enthusiastic approach will enable you to provide pre‑entry advice and guidance at HE fairs and through presentations and workshops to students, advisers, parents and carers.
You will ensure data collection and storage processes are GDPR compliant and analyse metrics to evidence the impact of recruitment activities and how they contribute to achieving the University’s recruitment targets.
Experience of university life or studying in a UK Higher Education context is essential, as is a proactive ‘can‑do’ attitude and the ability to use initiative.
You will work mainly from home but will attend team meetings and key recruitment events at our campuses in Cheltenham and Gloucester, and may be required to work some evenings and occasional weekends.
Travel within the region is required; therefore we are looking for someone with a full UK‑valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.
