A forward-thinking and welcoming primary school in Cheltenham is seeking an experienced Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and skilled practitioner who wants to extend their impact beyond the classroom and take on a leadership-focused role within a supportive school community.

This KS2 Teacher role is ideal for an experienced teacher (not suitable for ECTs) who is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching across the KS2 curriculum, supporting pupils’ progress in reading, writing, and maths, and contributing to whole-school improvement and curriculum development.

• Deliver consistently high-quality teaching across the Key Stage 2 curriculum
• Lead or support initiatives in reading, writing, maths, and wider curriculum subjects
• Set high expectations to secure strong outcomes for all pupils
• Support pupils with SEND and diverse learning needs
• Work closely with SLT and KS2 colleagues to drive improvement
• Take on additional leadership or subject responsibilities aligned with your experience

• Demonstrate proven, outstanding KS2 teaching practice
• Have excellent knowledge of the KS2 curriculum, assessment, and pedagogy
• Be confident leading or supporting curriculum development, mentoring, or subject initiatives
• Build positive, professional relationships with pupils, families, and staff
• Be ambitious and motivated to contribute to whole-school improvement
