Position: Broadlands Pre-School Centre, Leckhampton GL53 0EJ

Pre-school Manager – Permanent Contract.

Hours:

5 days/week, (approx: 40 hours/week), hours can be flexible but must support the coredelivery hours of the setting which are 9:00am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday. Pay:£33,600 per annum (annual pay review in the summer).

Start Date:

ASAP, ideally in time for start of 2026 Summer term, otherwise in the summer ready for the start of 2026/27 academic year.

Located in the heart of Leckhampton, Broadlands is a thriving, community-focused preschool with a long-standing reputation for excellence. We provide a nurturing environment for children aged 2 to 5 years during term time. As a charity-run setting supported by an active Committee of Volunteers, we pride ourselves on a "Good with Outstanding elements" Ofsted rating and a team that feels like family.

We are seeking a committed, compassionate, and highly organised Preschool Manager to lead our team. You will be the face of the preschool, ensuring that our high standards of care, safety, and education remain at the forefront of everything we do. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of Level 3 qualification in early years (or equivalent);
Level 5 or above is desirable. SENCO qualification or working towards the qualification. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership or management role within an early years setting. A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and statutory requirements.

Main duties and responsibilities will include the management of staff, daily operations and administration, health and safety and Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), ensuring all following EYFS and maintaining the high standards of the setting.
