Trainee Cover Supervisors Cheltenham
£120 per day – Full training provided. Flexible working (2–5 days per week). Are you confident, personable, and looking for a rewarding role working with young people? We are seeking Trainee Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Cheltenham. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, youth workers, sports coaches, support workers, or anyone with experience working with teenagers who is looking to gain valuable school-based experience.
The Role- Supervising whole classes during teacher absences
- Delivering pre‑set lesson materials and instructions
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively
- Building positive relationships with students and staff
- Encouraging student engagement and participation
- Working across a range of subjects and year groups
- Graduates or candidates with relevant experience working with teenagers
- Confident communicators with strong interpersonal skills
- Individuals with a good sense of humour and natural charisma
- People who can build rapport quickly with young people
- Calm, resilient, and confident managing behaviour
- Reliable, professional, and adaptable individuals
- No previous Cover Supervisor experience is required as full training will be provided for suitable candidates.
- £120 per day
- Working hours:
08:30 am – 03:30 pm - Flexible working between Monday and Friday
- Choose between 2–5 days per week
