Contract and salaryFull time, 1 year fixed term contract. Salary: NJC7 £ 26,403 pro rata £21,983 – NJC
11 £ 28,142 pro rata £23,421 plus well‑being cash plan, pension scheme and additional Lift Schools benefits.

ResponsibilitiesThe Teaching Assistant works in partnership with teachers to improve students’ learning and attainment while promoting independence, self‑esteem and social inclusion. The role provides support so students can access the curriculum, participate fully and experience a sense of achievement.
QualificationsApplicants must hold an L3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent, or be willing to work towards it. A good understanding of a range of pupil learning needs, patience, calm demeanour, empathy, and ability to engage and enthuse students are essential.
