Care Assistant – Education Setting (PEG Feeding Essential) Bourton-on-the-Water, GL54 Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:30am-3:30pm £92.63 per day September Start Temporary to Permanent Opportunity

Are you an experienced Care Assistant looking for a rewarding role outside of traditional care settings? If you have experience supporting individuals with PEG feeding and are passionate about making a difference, this is an excellent opportunity to use your skills in a welcoming primary school environment. We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Care Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support to a Reception-aged pupil throughout the school day.

You'll play a vital role in supporting the child's medical needs, wellbeing and development, helping them to access learning while ensuring they feel safe, included and supported. This role is ideal for someone with a background in care, healthcare or support work who is looking for a better work-life balance, with school hours, weekends and school holidays off.

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a Reception-aged pupil throughout the school day.
• Safely administer PEG feeds in accordance with training and the child's care plan.
• Support the child's personal care, wellbeing and daily routines.
• Encourage independence, confidence and participation in classroom activities.
• Work closely with teachers, SEN staff, therapists and parents to ensure the child receives consistent, high-quality support.

• Previous experience administering PEG feeds.
• Experience working as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, Healthcare Assistant or in a similar care role.
• Confidence supporting individuals with medical or additional needs.
• A caring, patient and dependable approach.
• Availability to work Monday to Friday during term time.

• Experience supporting children or young people.
• Experience working with individuals with additional needs or disabilities.
• Previous experience within a school, nursery or educational setting (not essential).

• Full-time, term-time hours (Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm).
