Qualified Chemistry Teacher - Daily Supply

We are looking for a Qualified Teacher of Chemistry to provide daily supply cover for a variety of schools in Maidstone, Kent , from 1st September 2026 . This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Chemistry teacher looking for the flexibility of daily supply, while working within a well-established and supportive school environment. The successful candidate will primarily teach Chemistry, with some Biology , and should be confident stepping into lessons and maintaining a positive and engaging classroom environment.

The role will run from 1st September until 23rd October 2026 , with the potential to extend further beyond this period. Daily Rate: £130-£140 per day, depending on experience. About You Previous secondary Chemistry/Biology teaching experience - essential Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential Strong knowledge of the Science curriculum Confident teaching Chemistry, with some Biology Able to quickly adapt to different classes and learning needs Strong classroom management and communication skills Passionate about engaging students and developing their interest in Science Reliable, flexible and confident working across a secondary school environment Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
