PPA Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated PPA Teacher to join a supportive school team and provide high-quality teaching across a range of year groups. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who enjoys variety, building positive relationships with pupils, and delivering engaging lessons across the curriculum.

As a PPA Teacher, you will be responsible for covering classes across the school while class teachers have dedicated planning, preparation and assessment time. You will be expected to deliver engaging, well-structured lessons and create a positive learning environment for all pupils.

You will:

• Teach across different year groups and curriculum areas.
• Plan and deliver engaging, creative and differentiated lessons.
• Establish positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Maintain high expectations of behaviour, learning and achievement.
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of individual pupils.
• Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.
• Work collaboratively with class teachers and the wider school team.

The successful candidate will be:

• A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent).
• An enthusiastic and committed classroom practitioner.
• Confident teaching across different year groups.
• Adaptable, organised and able to quickly build rapport with pupils.
• Passionate about providing an engaging and inclusive learning experience.
• A positive team player with excellent communication skills.
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
