SEN 1-1 Support Worker and Mentor

Salary: £90 - £105 per day (DOE)

- Friday (8:30am - 3:30pm)

Every student follows a personalised learning plan designed to support their individual needs which you will support the implementation of.
You will work alongside a skilled team, delivering targeted interventions and fostering a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities of a SEN 1-1 Support worker and Mentor:- Supporting learners on a 1-1 basis with their learning and personal development needs.
- Help with creating a safe and encouraging environment to help the learners you are supporting thrive.
- Assisting with learning and specific interventions to support progress.
- Monitoring achievements and helping students reach their full potential.
- Ensuring safeguarding policies are followed at all times.
- Mentor learners so that they are able to express themselves in a safe and controlled way.
- A caring, patient, and adaptable approach.
- A genuine passion for helping children with SEN succeed.
- Experience working with children is beneficial but not essential.
- A willingness to learn and take on training opportunities.
- An enhanced DBS check (Or willingness to apply for one).
Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy
