About us

Our school vision of ‘Dream, Drive, Duty, Dazzle’ underpins everything we do  believe every single one of our pupils can – and will – achieve. We work closely with our school community to win their hearts and minds. Through the support and experiences we offer, we help them to overcome some of the disadvantage they might face. Although we are in a deprived area, we are not deprived of ambition or expectation!

Our large team of professionals boast a wealth of experience and an abundance of enthusiasm. Although we are a larger than average (3 form entry) school, our internal staffing structures and strong systems & procedures ensure staff feel supported. In addition, all staff benefit from the exceptional GLA CPD offer (one of the many benefits of being part of a MAT).

There is opportunity for further support, training and development at every level; it really does go above and beyond a typical CPD offer!

Well-being and mental health are a priority at Rowanfield and this is woven throughout the curriculum so you would be joining a kind and caring team. We are fortunate to boast two experienced Pastoral Teams who offer a variety of support and interventions for the children and their families. They are at the heart of our school.

Building relationships with staff, parents and the local community is important to us – it’s vital that we listen to and understand the views and opinions of our community so that we can best serve them.

The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young persons and must ensure that the highest priority is given following the guidance and regulations to safeguard children and young people. The successful candidate will be required to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Baring Service and qualification checks. The GLA is an equal opportunities employer.
