Mechanical Technician Energy from Waste £48,000 plus bonus Gloucester MC Technical Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, to work in a state-of-the-art EfW power station located in Gloucester. Our client is a leading organisation within their sector, with the opportunity for an experienced Technician to join their team in a full time, days-based role with an on-call rota.

As the Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:
Routine & emerging maintenance tasks on boilers, steam turbines & conveyor systems Maintenance of mechanical plant Assisting the Mechanical Engineer with planning Managing selected plant improvements Supporting annual outages & apprentices Promoting H&S compliance at all times Other duties as required To be considered for this role you should have: A relevant engineering qualified (HNC/NVQ/Apprenticeship etc.) Proven experience in power generation, EfW , oil, biomass or marine or similar sector )

Experience of carrying out maintenance on mechanical process equipment such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, HVAC systems & conveyors, etc. Able to work at height on fixed platforms.
