Job DescriptionWe have an opportunity to join our Military Product Support Team, supporting the delivery of display and controller products to a diverse range of customers in both the civil and military sectors. As a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual, you would join our team in Cheltenham, solving problems and driving improvements to our products.

The roleHaving experience working with complex electronics to component level, you will support post‑design activities on our displays and controls portfolio and in the future have access/opportunities to support any product within the Cheltenham post‑design environment. You will resolve technical/engineering issues to ensure production output and product performance targets are achieved.
Management of change is a key part of the role. You will analyse problems to root‑cause, drive corrective actions as required, manage obsolescence issues (re‑design, risk analysis, cost, last‑time‑buy, documentation configuration and customer approval) and operate within the strict regulatory regimes of the aviation industry, ensuring compliance with Aviation Technical Standard Orders (TSO).
With time and experience, you will be coached through attaining airworthiness authorisations to approve the release of products and, in turn, open doors to more senior positions in the team.
Working effectively with multiple departments throughout the business will be key to success, and you will build relationships with colleagues across supply chain and quality to act as a link between them and the engineering community.
Qualifications / RequirementsProblem solving is at the core of what we do. You will be qualified to HNC or above in an electronic discipline or have an equivalent relevant level of experience and knowledge. An understanding of electronics to component level is a must; you will be comfortable with using and amending engineering drawings, schematics and specifications. You must demonstrate that you can manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring attention to detail and adherence to regulations.
