OverviewIf you are a mid‑level building structural design engineer looking for a new challenge, Aldwych Consulting offers you an opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects, from large complex schemes up to £200 m to local client schemes. Projects are both domestic and international, with clients ranging from F1 teams and motor manufacturers to schools, universities, contractors and developers.
The firm, with over 50 years of experience, invests continually in staff, embraces new technologies, and prides itself on technical excellence and timely delivery. You will join an established and expanding Structural & Civil Engineering team, collaborating with internal construction and property experts.
Responsibilities- Design buildings using concrete, steel, timber and masonry for new build and refurbishment works.
- Prepare and review structural calculations and drawings in Tekla, Master series, SCIA and Tedds.
- Conduct survey and report work as required.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors and colleagues.
- Mid‑level experience in structural design for buildings.
- Proficiency with structural analysis software (Tekla, Master series, SCIA, Tedds).
- Strong communication skills and ambition to attain Chartered status.
- Full right to work in the UK for the long term.
