Graduate Town Planner – Cheltenham

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a respected planning and development consultancy in their search for a Graduate Town Planner to join their Cheltenham office.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and ambitious graduate to kick-start their planning career with a supportive and growing consultancy. Working alongside experienced planners, you’ll gain exposure to a wide range of projects and clients while developing your professional skills towards RTPI chartership.

• Assisting with the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals

• Undertaking planning research and site appraisals

• Supporting the preparation of reports and planning statements

• Liaising with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders

• Contributing to a wide variety of projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments

• A degree (or master’s) in Town Planning or a related discipline (RTPI accredited)

• Strong research, analytical and report writing skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn within a professional environment

• A genuine interest in progressing your career in planning

• Full support and mentoring towards RTPI chartership
