As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team.
The Role We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to oversee a key project in Wiltshire, with future work expected across the Midlands and South. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful technical and commercial delivery of mechanical packages on complex projects, maintaining our high standards of safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities Oversee the mechanical installation and commissioning process from pre-construction through to handover Coordinate with design teams, subcontractors, and suppliers Review and manage technical drawings, specifications, and submittals Monitor project progress, budgets, and programme milestones Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company standards Attend and lead site meetings with clients and stakeholders Support procurement activities and manage subcontractor performance Assist in managing project documentation and reporting Requirements Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Engineer within an M&E or main contracting environment Strong knowledge of mechanical building services (HVAC, pipework, plant rooms, etc.)
Experience delivering projects within Education, MoJ, healthcare, or similarly regulated sectors is advantageous Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project financials Excellent communication and coordination skills Ability to work independently while contributing to a wider project team Relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services (HNC/HND/Degree preferred) CSCS card (relevant level) Security clearance (or willingness and eligibility to obtain it) is highly desirable
