- Gain experience across all aspects of systems engineering, including requirements capture, system design, and verification
- Support network connectivity, customer support services, or internal process improvement using IT systems
- Define requirements for propeller control systems within systems and safety engineering frameworks
- Propose cost-effective control system solutions and analyse system performance using simulation environments
- Create requirements for control units for subcontract design and manufacture
- Define and support verification testing of propeller control systems
- Work through the end-to-end systems engineering lifecycle for safety-critical aerospace products
- Capture, write, and manage customer requirements with full traceability
- Define and execute verification and validation through lab testing, integration tests, and analysis
- Contribute to certification and safety evidence for aviation authorities
- Collaborate with hardware, software, safety, and certification teams
- Participate in technical reviews and apply lean engineering principles to improve efficiency and quality
- Deliver projects with support, coaching, and mentoring from the People Leader and team
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or integrated Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems, Control Systems, or a related field
- Keen interest in Systems Engineering
- Literate with Microsoft Office tools
- On course to achieve a 2:1 degree or above
- To be in your penultimate year of study and returning to education post placement
- Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required and must be maintained
- Permanent right to work in the UK is required; sponsorship is not available for Early Careers opportunities
- Able to work towards deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Able to work as part of a team
