Management Accountant

We are seeking a Management Accountant to join an established team in the industrial/manufacturing sector. This role requires a detail-oriented professional to manage financial activities and provide insightful analysis to support decision-making.

The organisation is a well-established player in the industrial/manufacturing sector based in Cheltenham. It operates as a mid-sized company with a strong focus on financial precision and operational excellence.

• Prepare and analyse financial reports to support business decisions.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Monitor and report on company performance against budgets and forecasts.
• Reconcile accounts and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Work closely with stakeholders to provide financial insights and recommendations.
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist in managing audits and liaising with external auditors.
• Identify areas for cost savings and process improvements within the organisation.

• Part-qualified status in accounting (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) or AAT Level 4 Qualified
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and budgeting processes.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate financial data effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
• Experience with in the industrial/manufacturing sector is advantageous.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to meeting deadlines.

• Competitive salary between GBP 35,000 and GBP 38,000.
