Management Accountant
Via is proud to be partnering with a high‑growth, technology‑focused business on a key hire within their Group Finance function. Our client is a scaling organisation with an ambitious trajectory, and this is a genuine opportunity to join at an exciting stage of their journey and make a real impact.
The RoleWe're seeking a talented Management Accountant to join the Group Finance team. This is a broad and hands‑on role at the heart of the business, covering month‑end reporting, statutory compliance, and group consolidation across multiple entities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering timely and accurate month‑end close for the group and its subsidiaries
- Preparing monthly management accounts including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cashflow
- Performing detailed variance analysis with clear commentary and insight
- Completing Balance Sheet reconciliations to audit‑ready standard
- Supporting the preparation of monthly Group consolidated accounts
- Assisting with intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, and group adjustments
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns across the Group
- Supporting finance integration activity relating to M&A and hive‑up processes
- Building strong relationships across operational, commercial, and technology teams
- Newly qualified or part‑qualified ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent)
- 2–5 years' experience in a relevant finance role
- Solid experience in month‑end reporting, tax returns, and audit support
- Background in a high‑growth, technology‑focused, or multi‑entity environment
- Exposure to group consolidations, mergers, or hive‑up processes
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with Net Suite ERP is a strong advantage
- Sharp attention to detail, strong analytical capability, and a proactive mindset
- A confident communicator who can engage stakeholders at all levels
- Hybrid working — minimum 3 days in the office per week in Cheltenham
